Spring with Angelica and Friends

Well its all about springtime over at TRY IT ON TUESDAY , something which we have being having with these Aprils showers , we could do what ever we wanted that made us think of spring and for me that's flowers and I already had this stamp ready to colour and also wanted to use two colours I do not normally put together which is green and purple ok maybe not very spring colours but as the image I have used is of a fairy picking flowers thought maybe could get away with it lol.

To make my card I used my hoggie board to make a embossed background , which I then coloured with chalks from Dove crafts , the ribbon down the side of the card is plated with left over bits to make the bow and they come from my stash , I then coloured in my image from crafter's companion with Pm's .

A clean sketch

So if your mojo is been naughty and not playing then why not pop on over to play at
Less Is More as Christine has come up with this lovely sketch , have a feeling that I could be coming up with another card for this sketch as love it .

To make my card I used two of my spellbinder dies to draw round with two shades of Pm's and then used a stamp from my stash with a Tim holtz in pad and also used that on the flowers which are also from my stash and same for the message , the brads are from WOC .

Week166 - Turquoise

Well this has been scary for me to get back into , the clean and simple card . I am sure I'll get the hang of it again soon enough and have to be honest have missed doing these and also the way people comment on each others blogs and give tips , which I am sure I will need and don't mind having . So guess I better say who's blog I am on about well its Less is More and for the this month they have The Ribbon Girl

And to top me coming back into the world of less is more they have one of my fave colours as the theme which is Turquoise

Have also gone with a one layer card and for it I used a stamp from Clarity and used a Tim Holtz distress pen for my hint of turquoise , not sure if needs anything else , so please let me know what you think. Thanks for looking x

Who's a pretty boy then

As you can tell I have really got back into the blogging bug . especially with the weather been so pants today and I also needed a very chilled day as yesterday I had my boyfriends son over who had so much energy , think he took mine to lol.
Maybe I should of gone with a monkey for the wildlife theme at My Time To Craft  but instead went with a parrot .
I know this is a very simple card , but trying very hard to use up all my bits and bobs before buying new goodies as things are starting to over flow in my craft room lol
So the goodies I used are card from bits box , topper is a postcard that was sent to me many moons ago and message that I got from Lakeland when they used to do craft goodies , so shows how long I have had that for lol.

Fun with snow

Well here I am with my 1st Christmas card of 2014 and its all for the Winter Wonderland Blog who has given us the theme of snowballs , so I thought as this year I plan to use all my old Xmas cards for my own cards this year what better than to use winter wonderland blog to help me with this misson .

Before I get on and show my card I best say who the sponsor is and also what the lucky winner will get . well the winner will get this
And this is been given by Marianne Design

And this is what I came up with .... goodies used
from my stash - the mirri card and backing paper and a old Xmas card , hope it dose for the theme as they are playing in the snow

Adam in blue and yellow

As you might of guessed it's a colour theme of blue and yellow from Crafty Creations Challenge.
I am sorry if I keep going on about how much I have missed blogging , but it is so nice to be back in blog land as it so helps when my mojo is on a walk about , which it always seems to do when boys/ or men's cards are needed and plus I like a colour theme as it gives me colours I do not normally use together .
Oh heck I am off on a ramble , sure its lack of sleep making my mind go funny , well time for me to get onto the sponsor who is A Creative Need and Denna will give the winner 3 digi images .

So goodie time
Crafter's companion for the core'dations , backing paper and image are from the Adam and Angelica range oh the yellow paper is from one of their monthly freebies .
Joanna Sheen - promarker
My stash - for the buttons , twine and message .

Fairy bling

Have so missed taking part in Wild Orchid Challenges and this time they have on that really suits me and its bling and of course it also means that wild orchid crafts will give the lucky winner a £15 voucher.

So guess I best get on and show my card and say what goodies I have used
For my card base I used my flower fairy card making kit from crafter's companion as well as the decoupage from the same range , the bling comes from my gems that are from my stash and also some glitter spray that is also from crafter's companion . Oh and I did nt think that was enough bling so used some crystal drops from WOC - the lace and charm is also from them and the final touch was the ribbon from fantastic ribbon.

A close up of the lace and charm .
