Elly with a sketch

Omg what a wet bank holiday that was so what better than to do some crafting and also thought was a good idea to catch up on some blogging so here I am playing along with

Playing with a simple sketch

So its a bit of a change from
Less Is More with a sketch as they don't do them often but remember that clean space

So here are my 2 cards - sorry 3 cards as really enjoyed using this sketch

Yes still topping up on male cards - for this one I did a one layer
I used a spellbinder die to draw round and then used a docrafts stamp coloured with spectrum pencils from crafters companion and the pens are from Tim Holtz

Anything goes Xmas

So Winter are running there theme for nearly a month as some of their Dt are on Holidays and they have given the theme of anything goes and its also means ton's of sponsors so just going to get on with it and try not to ramble on to much so the 1st sponsor is

Yes Its another Xmas card , really must say I seem to be loving doing them more so this year , think its mainly because I know I won't be doing any less minute like last year and yes I am doing this one for

Animal madness

So its all about animals over at Less Is More  , yay love this theme as I am big animal lover , so managed to come up with 3 cards this time but not sure if the owl one is clean and simple enough .

Items used
Brown card from the papermill which I cut down to be a A6 card . Which I then stamped on to using my stampin up dear stamp and merry Christmas which I embossed with WoW embossing powder.

And this one
I have used a stamp from Crafter's Companion Mulberry wood range coloured with Pm's and spectrum pencils , then to finish off a Tim Holtz distress pen for the faux stitching
And then this is one I don't know if this is clean and simple enough
Used the same brown card from the 1st card and then a la blanche stamp embossed again with wow embossing powder and yes more faux stitching

A Snowy Xmas

One layer Happy Birthday

Yes I am back from my week at Charmouth which was lovely , but did my crafting so here I am with a one layer card for Less Is More and the theme was FOLIAGE
So thought would do for a male birthday card as never have enough of them for sale or my own use , so if these dose nt sell then it can go in my stash

Xmas flower with Bebunni

So here I am again with another Xmas card to try and get off my list of making them and I am doing it for

LIM - Happy Birthday Chrissie

As its Chrissie Birthday it's a anything goes theme from Less Is More , which I found much harder to think about than a set theme , but got there in the end and managed to come up with 2 cards and yes one is a Xmas card , plus also have loved playing with one of my fave stamp sets from Stampin up - lovely as tree .

So this one is super simple just stamped straight on to the card which is from crafter's companion and them embossed with some wow embossing powder

This one I did my own background using Tim Holtz ink pads and sprayed some water on it to help it blend more and then some fake stitching round the edge with a Tim Holtz distress pen .

P is for Pearls

Ok last one for today as its getting hot and plus need to think of something to eat , mind you don't fancy much with it be lovely and sunny so could just do a simple bacon sandwich , ok I am sure you don't all want to hear what I am having for my evening meal , so on the final blog of my postings today which is for The ABC Challenge who have the theme of Pearls for the letter P.

Yep a 2nd blog from me today , trying to get as much done as possiable before my mum brings my furry baby back , as normally I am doing this with her trying to help lol

Rubber Ducky

Well the theme this time from Less Is More is singing in the rain , I did nt have any rain images well I do have one but its a digi one and my printer is playing silly so and so's . So went with a image of baby on a rubber ducky in water so hope that is ok for the theme . Plus thought be brave and do it as one layer even though its not a one layer week lol.

Adpat a fingerprint

Well this is something I have nt done since I was a kid finger painting but in a different way of adapting it into something , keeping it one layer and clean and simple for Less Is More .
And I managed to come up with 2 cards as loved it so much and still have the ink on my thumb thankfully don't have any where important to be as work is used to seeing me now with ink , pen or paint on my hands lol.

This one uses peeled paint ink pad from Tim Holtz , and brown Tim Holtz pen to add the truck of my tree and a red pm to add holly berries on it and finally a peel off from my stash

This one I tried to make it look was butterflies
So used two ink pads this time peacock and spun sugar and added a stampin up butterfly stamp on top

Three of Three

Morning all
Well blogger keeps playing silly games with me so hoping this post goes ok as the last one froze and then vanished , think its the shock of it been another hot day in Dorset and soon as my blogging is done plan to go and read a book in the garden .
So on to who's blog I am playing with which is Winter Wonderland and the theme from them is 3 of 3 so 3 images , bows , paper ect

Bebunni Spots and stripes

Yes its lots of spots and stripes or in my case when I banged my head in the camper van stars , so have had a bit of a funny head since Sunday , mind some people that know me would say I am always funny better than grumpy , right stop nattering Nicky and get on with this post which is for Winter Wonderland and the sponsor for them this time is Oyster Stamps who will give the winner a £10 voucher

Yes its a colour theme from Less Is More and its all about earth tones , which at 1st thought was just browns but when I looked at the makes from the DT it made me notice no it can be reds and greens .
So I manged to get two cards done and here they are

This one is using scrap bits of paper from my stash , and Crafter's companion label die for the message which is a peel of from docrafts and of course some brads that I have had for yonks, think they might also be from Docrafts
 

this one is very simple some card from the papermill for the mat and then a Tim Holtz blue print stamp coloured with his inks in brown and red on the baubles and yet again another peel off

Recyling in a simple way

Well what a week I have had been so busy but can't really think with what lol , but at least my back is back to normal and have been able to go on proper walks with my furry baby .
But mustn't ramble as still more blogging to be done and also the dog is starting to say its getting near her tea time , so on to the theme over at Less Is More  which is recycling . So for me that meant using up card scraps and some bits left from kits or goodie bags.

And I managed to come up with 2 cards

To make this one I used some card scraps and stamps from stampin as well as the dies that match them , and some wow embossing powder oh and some pearls from my stash plus twine which was left over from a card kit

And this one has used old tags off some clothes covered in paper from my stash and some wooden shapes that I had given to me coloured with Tim Holtz pens , ribbon and message yet again from my stash
