Less Is More - All about the scrap

So this time its all about the scraps which I am sure us crafters all have , know I do so much so that I had to buy some more storage for mine , so Mandi and Chrissie wanted us to use up all our scrap bits of papers on our cards so come one over to Less Is More and get scrappy.

Like I say as I have so many bits and bobs of paper and card I manged to get 2 cards done , hope you like them and let me know good or bad what you think please so onto card 1

OK so for this one I used up some of bits of Xmas core'dations which I sanded and if you want some then you can get it from crafters companion .

Yet again more core'dations but Kraft this time also available from crafters companion , the flower swirl was cut on Elmo and the message is from my stash. osssp nearly forgot the pearls which I got strangely enough from a bedding shop ,sorry can't remember the brand name of them.

Crafty Creations Challenge - Fancy folds

So over at The Cuttlebug Spot its spring so they would like to see our projects with things that make us think of spring and I went with Easter and a rainbow . They also have a fab prize up for grabs .

Less Is More - Die cuts / punches

Well Mandi and Chrissie are been nice to us this week with the theme been to use die cuts or punches on our cards , nice and easy well I liked it lol. So if you fancy a go pop over to Less Is More .

I am fairly please with my cards but not a 100% sure , but pleased that I did it all with one piece of card stock and a scrap bit of black card.

Something a bit different for Just Magnolia this week to make a tag , don't think I ve seen this as a theme before for them but I could be wrong , either way I loved doing it as it makes a nice change from card all the time.

Less Is More - Stripes - ONE LAYER

Well Mandi and Chrissie have done it again given us all some thing to really make us think , where as last week I sang with joy at the theme this week I was nearly banging my mojo against a brick wall trying to think of ideas but once I had seen what other Limetts had done the mojo started to play ball with the theme of stripes over Less Is More . Sorry but I can't remember which of the ladies helped my mojo so if you know who they are let me know so I can add there names and say thanks as they helped me get 3 cards done and all male theme ones .


card 1

Used my Houghie board to score the lines on this , so thanks to who ever did this , hope you don't mind me using this idea.

I highlighted the stripes with some chalk and then used some docraft stamps in the middle part which where coloured with PM's and Skaura pens.

Card 2

To get the stripes on this card I used a ruler and just coloured in the A with a Pm so it did nt look to flat and the stamp was from a docrafts goodie bag.

Used the dad stamp again which again was coloured with Pm's

for the stripes on this card I used a man;s shirt stamp from Anita's , got this idea from the lady that did the card with a hippo on it. and yes again Pm's where used.

Just Inspritational Challnege - Week 15 - Flowers

So this is the picture for our mojo to get thinking with over at

Just Inspirational , and of course is lead me to flowers but also to do a mother's day card and I found just the right image for and it even matched quiet a few of the colours from the picture , so happy bunny me . Just Magnolia - Pink , Pearl and Lace

Feel really bad as I have nt joined in for ages over Just Magnolia , so will do my best to remedy that and take part more often. OK enough about me more of whats going on well they have the theme of pink , pearls and lace , very nice theme to I think and they also have a great prize up for grabs from Letraset and this is the great prize.

Winter Wonderland - No Rectangle or Sqaure = a Oval for me

So its a shape theme over at Winter Wonderland but not squares or rectangles allowed , so I went for a oval shape instead .

Felt bag

So this is my version of the little flet bag we were making Wednesday night at my art and craft club .
We drew round a template , then stitched it all togther where I come up with my own sticth now kowen as the shabby chic pver sticth lol.

the flower my friend let me have as I forgot we need a emblishment and the beads where part of the kit.

Its going to be a gift for my friends little girl which I ll fill with litttle bits and bobs , like choclate lol.

CC Monthly challenge - anything goes

this one I used some core'dation which I cut some little flowers out on using my e-craft or Elmo as its now called. Gems are from my stash and the message is from Anita's which I coloured with Aqua promaker.

And this one was stamped using broken china from Tim holtz distress inks as its was as near as I could get to aqua with my ink stash.

the happy birthday message is from Anita's and the doggie stamp is from little Claire's coloured with Promarkers.
