Try It On Tuesday - A altered item then

Well as its the last Tuesday in the month over at Try It On Tuesday it means its time to alter a item and it could be any item we wanted as long as we added some texture to it , and it also means the sponsor for the week is The Craft barn who will give the winner £15 to use on there site.

Well I hope I got the texture OK for the theme , really enjoyed playing as got to use my new glue gun and also gave shabby chic a go for the 1st time.

Just realised I have nt done a before picture again , silly me . Must learn to do a before picture and not rush off and play lol.

Totally Gorjuss - KISS = keep it simple silly

So this time over at Totally Gorjuss they have given a lovely theme called K.I.S.S. which at first I thought was going to be a Valentine theme but nope it was a theme I love keep it simple silly , well not the silly bit LOL.
And they also have a fab sponsor who is Lili Of The Valley.
So of course I had to use one of their stamps for the theme and plus it was this ones 1st outting.

Not much to say about what I used with it been a simple card.

Stamp of course from LOTV which I coloured with PM's and just a simple message from my stash.

Our Creative Corner - Hip to be sqaure

Well its a sketch for this week's challenge over at Our Creative Corner and here it is

And here is what I did with it and also the goodies I used

OK so I used some my mind's eye paper to cover the base and the some card from core'dations - crafters companion which I cut on the GC using a large scalloped die from spellbinder. The circle are cut on the e-craft and the card is from the papermill.

The mats for the message was also cut on the e-craft and the message is from Anita's which inked up with Tim Holtz milled lavender and the brads are from wild orchids crafts .

Winter Wonderland - Swirls and Pearls

OK so here is what i used and did for my card.

8x8 card base - Joanna Sheen

Pearl paper from crafters companion which I cut on the GC using a large scalloped square die from spellbinders.

Patterned card from kanban cats kit which I cut on the e-craft using the fundamentals SD card , the cat topper is also from the kanban cats kit.

Swirls are from the Tim Holtz grunge board range which I sprayed with gold glitter spray from crafters companion.

Pearls are a mix from 1craft1 and also Joanna Sheen.

Just Inspirational Challenge - week 13

OK so this is the pic for week 13 over at Just Inspirational Challenge

So the reason for my card and what I took from the picture to make it , well of course all the lovely colours and that they also made a circle in the middle made think to add that to .

So the items I uses are
8 x8 card base which I cover with Kraft core'dations - from crafters companion
the dotty paper is from my minds eye which I cut on the e-craft I also used that to cut the mat for the image which Inked with Tim Holtz distress ink sorry can't remember the name of it. I then coloured the image with Promarkers. and to finish some card candi from Joanna Sheen . Naughty me forgot to say the image is from Little Claire's.

OK its a wild card week at http://tuesdaytaggers.blogspot.com/ - sorry that I have nt linked properly but my net is been really naughty so I hope I can still be allowed to play.

Also sorry for the Xmas card but I could nt resit it as thought it fitted the theme well in the post and I am also trying to get 2 Xmas cards done a week as even though last year I was well prepared I still was rushing round last min getting them done.

Less Is More - Cut it out

Yet again Mandi and Chrissie had me thinking how I am going to do this and keep it simple , this time they wanted a cut out or aperture on card , so I did one of each I think lol.
Hope they both OK. Please let me know what you think good or bad well not to bad lol.

Card 1

Cut outs where done on the e-craft , then I placed some scrap core'dations behind it added a few buttons from my stash and some ribbon from 1craft1.
