Lots of crochet

Hi everyone
What a lovely sunny day it is in Dorset , have managed to get a load of washing and other house work jobs done , so can after some lunch carry on making my crochet bag . I got the pattern from Attic24 if you love crochet then go Google Lucy's blog as she makes wonderful item and is very kind in sharing her patterns .

So the kind of colours in my bag remind of the smarties I was eating last night as some of my bag will have these bright colours in them

Ok maybe I 'am a bit old for smarties but as I don't plan to ever grow up I can cope with the fact my mum gave them to me to eat hard life lol

The reason I have managed to get so much crochet done was the fact that I had a nasty fall on the 5th march smashing my knee cap open so as had to rest it while it healed thought would get some crochet makes done for my Etsy shop as hope to make a little pocket money and some money for charity. So following on from the bright theme finished off these little bright pink flower brooches

sorry the picture dose not really show just how bright the pink and yellow is .

I also found a lovely new crochet book called hooked on crochet , I got it in WHsmiths and it's great for people starting out in crochet and then goes on to more experienced items.

So of course I just had to play with one of the patterns and came up with these cute mobile/cell phone case/purse as you can also fit a small packet of tissues in one.

Ok promise to leave you all alone now so if you have sunshine can enjoy it , plus my tummy is rumbling so best got fill it .

Mother's day and Easter

Yes it's time for me to get my butt into gear and make some mother's day and Easter cards for work.
And as I had a couple of new Cd's to play with thought would use that to knock some off my list.

So this one is made from my New Cd from Crafter's companion , it's called Thellwell and is all about funny horses and  I used the card companion part of the Cd to make this card and just used a Promarker to go round the edges of the toppers and card.

The bunny and bear ones are from Happy Hoppers and Gruffies Cd from Joanna Sheen.
I used some papers from my stash for the background and border which punched with a MS border punch, then threaded some ribbon through from my stash. Some centura pearl card to mat my topper and yet again a promarker to go round the edges .Oh and few pearls also from JS

This one I kept simple with just a simple mat of core'dations and some of my crochet flowers with beads from Hobby craft as their centres

This one I went a bit more to town with , with papers from the Cd , centura pearl card for the mats , and some lace that used to be my grandma's.

And another Thellwell one , using paper from the paper pad , some kraft card and topper all from CC and then to finish off some twine and button from my stash

Clean and simple with specturm noir pencils

So When I was off work resting again , I am so sick of not been able to do much but know I'll get there in the end and will carry on plodding along . As always know there is someone worse off than me . Any way in that time I thought would practice some more with my spectrum noir pencils and do some clean and simple cards for the charity shop where I work .

So here is what I have come up with

To make my football card I used card blank from Crafter's companion which is 6x6 , a spellbinder scalloped circle die , some card candi round the edge from JS , the stamp is from stampave and of course coloured with spectrum pencils which are of course from CC and then to finish off and message from my stash .
Then this wedding couple where made , with yet again a spellbinder die as a mat , the image is from Magnoila range and yes coloured with the pencils , bit of ribbon from my stash , message is a Anita's one and the bling from hobbycraft.
