Anything goes

Yay its my 1st time to  join in playing over at Papertake weekly challenge and they have a theme I love which is anything goes , so thought would use it to build up my male card stash as its getting low again and also the chance to use some bits and bobs up.
Plus they have one of my fave sites as this weeks sponsor who is Lili of the valley who will give the winner a £10 voucher

So to make my card I used some blue card from my stash cut to 6x6 and then added a mat of centura pearl card from CC which was I cut to 5 and half by 5 and half , some paper from this months freebie over at CC and think that was cut to 4 x 4 , the stamp is also from them which is from the Toread range and coloured with a mix of Tim Holtz distress inks and finally some card candi and message from my stash , yes I have a lot of stash lol hence why trying hard to use it before getting anything new.

Not square

Well its all about not been square over at Just Inspirational Challenge and have to say it was a nice change to do a different shape card and thought would go with a scalloped oval as its one of my fave dies , any way before I go off and ramble best say who the sponsors are for this week
Beansie Doodles and Emma Canning's

To make my card I used my scalloped oval die for the red and black mat and then another type of scalloped oval which has little cut outs in it both from spellbinder , sorry I don't know there proper names as I am not very good at keeping packaging , then cut a butterfly out on some glitter paper from docrafts and also added some bling from bo bunny

All in the Xmas bow

Yes its all about bows so a nice easy theme there as I am sure most of us add a box on our cards , I know I do use ribbon a lot and 9 times out of 10 will add a box so really like the fact that Winter Wonderland have given it as a theme this week .
Oh the sponsor for this week is Oyster Stamps and they will give the lucky winner a £10 voucher

To make my card
I used yes again a 5x7 card from JS , seems to be my fave size of card at the moment , I also thought would keep my card clean and simple as like to have a mix of cards to send out , the other items used is ribbon from my stash , spellbinder label die for the mat for my stamp which is from Wild rose studio which I coloured with a mix of normal Pm's and a gold metallic for the stars and to finish off with peel off sticker from hobby craft.

Sketch by Jen

Yes its me playing with
Sketch Saturday again and this time Jen came up with this lovely sketch and they also have a lovely sponsor who is Whimsy stamps who will give the lucky winner a $15.00 voucher

And this is what I have come up with
Goodies used
I used a 5x7 card for my base from JS and cover that with some core'adtions from Hobby craft oh and I used a rounder corner punch which is a x-cut one think mine came from hobby craft , have to say I am starting to round off more of my cards as like the soft finish it gives . I then added some trim from my stash , added some stamped flowers on scrap paper the stamp is a stampin up set and also used the punch to match that set sorry can't remember the name of it and then to finish off a message from docrafts which I coloured with a Pm to match the core'adtions
