Crafty Creations - Wk116 - White space

This time at crafty creations we had the challenge to have white space on our cards , scary I thought . But I am slowly getting used to it as have done a few cards now with white space , but not many this big so very challenging to me Lol.

My time to craft challenge - pets

At My time to craft challenge had the theme of us to have pets on our projects and I can always remember growing up that a friend of mine had some love birds as pets and when I was going through my goodies I can across this decoupage of love birds and thought yay lets use that.


Well not alot to say what i used for my card
everything but the gems which are from docrafts and the rest is the the woodland kit by kanban at QVC


Try It On Tuesday - A tin

This week at Try It On Tuesday we had the challenge to alter a tin , and I have to say I am very lucky to help in a chairty shop as I have picked up some lovely tins for this challenge , and eventually I found the one I wanted to play with. And it will be a gift for a friend of mine which I will fill with lots off little gifts , lot better than a gift bag well i think so lol.

Totally Gorjuss - Bling it on !!

This week at Totally Gorjuss we had a such a brill theme of lots of bling and what girl dose nt like bling esp on a card lol. So huge smiles from me on this theme .

Our Creative Corner - Easel card

This time at Our creative corner they wanted us to have a go at doing a easel card which was a nice change as have nt done one of these for ages and also wanted to get my woodland kanban kit out again as it was feeling unloved lol.

This time at Less is More Mandi and Chrissie wanted us  to be off centre with our images , easy I thought at 1st but oh no its a tricky to get things placed just right. So hope I ve done OK as would hate to be in trouble with the lady and diva lim's LOL.

Try It On Tuesday -- upcycling

At Try It On Tuesday this week they wanted to have a go at up recyling which is a posh way of putting to reclye lol.
And lucky for me I had this little box stashed away just wanting to have a new image lol

I then used
some kittten roll that I inked , wetted and heated - got the idea to use kitchen roll for decoration from Angela - hope thats ok

and of course the brown box that some craft goodies came in lol.

Less Is More - wk 11 - Acetate

Over at Less Is More  they want us to use acetate and straight away I thought oh no as for one I don't have much of it and two I ve not used it before , but lucky me had a scrap left over from a sticker sheet , which I'd inked with alochol ink gold , embossed with cuttlebug folder and folder into a envelope shape . Added a few flowers from hobbycraft and a peel off sticker my stash.

Hope its OK as like I say have never done anything with acetate

Less Is More - week 10 - sentiment

This time at Less Is More  we had the challenge to have the sentiment as the main aprt of the card , which I have to made the old mojo work so yet another thanks to Mandi and Chrissie for giving me a push to try something new , but unfortally i dont have many sentiment stamps so off I went scaning the net and came across this lovley site birds cards do fingers crossed I will never be short of sentiment.

So not alot to say of what i used on my card lol
I printed the sentiment straight on to the card which I have nt done before so that was bit nervy
then I used promakers buttercup and mint green to colour in.


sorry for the bad pic but this was the best out of the 6 .

Try It on Tuesday - Inspiration from the home

This time at try it on Tuesday we had to get inspiration from our home , but as my walls are white I thought I would use this picture frame for my inspiration , as did nt think white walls would get my mojo going lol.

I have to say that my hand made flower was my 1st time at this kind flower as norm buy them already made lazy me lol.

CC Monthly Challenge Blog - Aqua and Brown

This month at crafters companion monthly challenge we have a colour theme of AQUA and BROWN . Really love these colours together so not sure why I don't use them more in my projects maybe I ll have to make sure I use them more , but as I am running low on brown paper guess that means a craft shopping trip to top up what a shame lol.

Less Is More - week 9 - a hint of red

So this time at Less Is More we had a colour theme of having just a hint of red on a card , which led me straight to doing black and white but OK my card base is cream as have run out of cream square cards lol , guess I ll have to go shopping and get some what a shame that be craft shopping lol.

And yet again I ve done a few cards with this theme but will only blog 2 of them as the others I cant show due to the fact that the ppl there for look at my blog lol

Try it on Tuesday - Revamped frame

This Tuesday at Try it on Tuesday we had a theme I ve really gotten into revamping things and they wanted to revamp a picture frame , which I just loved doing found it hard to stop adding things to it which you can prob tell LOL.
And as its a revamped theme we have the craft barn as the sponsor which will be giving a £15 voucher to use on their website


osssp just realised I did nt take a before pic but it was a brown paper mache frame before I got my hand on it lol
I used Tim holtz gold dabber and alochol inks to add some colour
Lace - wild orchids which I also colour with alochol ink
the flower rose I made from ribbon - my own stash which I coloured with pool dabber
Bow at the bottom is off a gift.

forgot to say I used a heat gun on the ribbon to give it shriveled look
